The national festival of ‘Dr Rajakumar Samagra Charitre’ team headed by Doddahulluru Rukkoji and team was inaugurated on Friday evening at Ravindra Kalakshetra in a well designed background.

Former Union Minister and former CM SM Krishna and Nithyotsava poet Prof Nissar Ahmed were joined by Smt Lakshmi Govindaraju, daughter of Dr Rajakumar, Vidyashanker, Doddahulluru Rukkoji. Flowers petals were offered to Dr Rajakumar portrait and a plant was fed with water as part of the inauguration. A souvenir on this occasion was also unveiled at this event.

The former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, Dr Ambarish and S Suresh Kumar former minister of BJP did not turn up to the event.

In his welcome address Rukkoji connected the personalities he invited with Rajakumar and his works. Deve Gowda is like ‘Bennu Moole’, SM Krishna is man with ‘Raja Gambirya’, Prof Nissar is like Masthaka Shila, Dr Ambi and S Suresh Kumar like ‘left and right’ according to Rukkoji.

At this memorable occasion Chi Dattaraj, K Mohan Rao, BC Shivakumar, Narasimhamurthy were honored with shawl, garland and fruit basket.

Vidhyashanker noted down the purpose and need of having National festival on Dr Rajakumar. In Kannada filmdom documenting is not happening is a pointed to be noted he mentioned.
